LifeChanges Attends Focus On The Future 2009

LifeChanges Boutique, Inc., a local company working to provide bras, prostheses, swimwear, wigs, compression garments, apparel, jewelry and gift items for women living with cancer, has recently returned from the 9th annual Focus on the Future Educational Conference and Tradeshow in Charleston, South Carolina. Held March 30th through April 1st, this event brought companies providing products and services for cancer survivors together to learn, and grow their businesses. Attendees found there are many growth opportunities even in our challenging economy.

Each year, Focus on the Future provides the newest information and cutting edge products of the industry for companies such as LifeChanges to examine and apply to their own business. This year, the staff had the opportunity to learn from enthusiastic individuals speaking in seminars on customer service, lymphedema, cash flow, Medicare, and obtaining referrals from health care professionals. These classes were specially approved to count towards continuing educational requirements needed to maintain their certification.

By attending educational events such as Focus on the Future, LifeChanges becomes better equipped to address the needs of their customers and patients. Along with informational classes, Diana Klunk, President of LifeChanges also had the invaluable opportunity to network with other business owners in the same industry to insure the very best service for her clients. In addition, she was able to purchase new inventory including new cutting edge products designed with a woman’s comfort as a top priority.
