Look Good Feel Better Class for Women with Cancer
A Look Good Feel Better class, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, will be held on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM at LifeChanges Boutique in Hanover.
Look Good Feel Better is a program designed to help women undergoing cancer treatment look and feel their best. Trained and licensed cosmetologist volunteers teach makeup application and tips to deal with some of the physical side effects of treatment, such as loss of eyebrows and hair. There are wigs available to try on and take home, complete with care and styling tips from the pros. In addition, attendees will learn how to utilize scarves as head coverings and accessorize wigs, hats and thinning hair. Each participant will be given a free make-up kit filled with skin care products and cosmetics from leading manufacturers.
The Look Good Feel Better program is free to any women undergoing cancer treatment. Registration is required. Please contact Ashlee Hoke, Salon Manager of LifeChanges Boutique at 717.633.1111 to register no later than December 11, 2009.
